With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David W. Smith of Palatine, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wayne and Louise Smith; his daughter Barbara Jean Perez; his grandchild Christian; his wife Diane J. Smith; and his brother Robert Smith (Louise).
He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Gulik (Greg) and Mary Louise Reiprich (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jerome, Michelle (Ron), Benjamin (Dannielle), Jessica, Aaron (Julie), Joseph and Kimberlee (Trevor); his son-in-law Jerry Perez; his nephew Greg Smith (Trina); his niece Laurie King (Ed); and also Jason. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
