He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence I. and Mary J. Copping; his sisters, Helen L. Copping and Marian V. Juhl; his son-in-law James H. Pragman; his niece Donna Juhl; and also Louis F. Schoenfeldt.
He is survived by: his wife Louise H. Copping; his children, Claudia Pragman and Clarence C. Copping (Donna); his grandchildren, Alexa Pragman (David Norton), Alison Pragman, Samantha Kang (Peter) and Courtney Soderberg (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Aurelia Norton, Simon, Benedict Kang and Roy Soderberg; his nephew Jeff Juhl (Bev); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Quentin (Jen), Disa Patel (Amil) and Evan (Danielle); his sister-in-law Sally Schoenfeldt; his sisters, Lorraine (Walter Wadington) and Gloria (Walter Schmidt); and also Gary Brummet.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (200 N Plum Grove Rd, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
