With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Candida Serino of Palatine, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlantonio Pesce and Loreta Pesce; her husband Giuliano Serino; and her siblings, Anna Russo (Stefano) and Emilio Pesce (Maria).
She is survived by: her children, Mariella Berardi (Pasquale), Nicola Serino (Sherry) and Carla Zivoli (Joe); her grandchildren, Annamaria Knych (Paul), Giovanni Berardi (Kayleen), Jon Zivoli (Allison Fortuna) and Maria Schaefer (Billy); her great grandchildren, Gianpaul, Natalia, Juliette and Noelle; her siblings, Francesca Calefato (late Vito), Maria Susca (Giuseppe), Stefano Pesce (Chiara), Dina Deluso (late Nicola) and Domenico Pesce (Giovanna); and her siblings-in-law, Stefano Russo (late Anna) and Maria Pesce (late Emilio). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
