Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Suzanna Dorothy and Frances Marie; and her former husband James Edward Carr. She is survived by: her son William Adam Carr (Carrie); and her grandchildren, Caitlyn Elayne and Madelyn Suzanne Carr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (201 N Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Irving Park Cemetery (7777 Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634).
