He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Knox and Marjorie Knox (Mackie); and his sister Ruthanne. He is survived by: his children, Kelsey (Sean), Jenny (Michael) and Ethan; his wife Patti; his grandchildren, Luke, Caera, John, Melanie, Alex, Nicole, Lucy and Michael; and his siblings, Doug (Cheryl), Margaret and Kathy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Al faced Alzheimer's with courage and maintained his ability to smile and laugh until the end.
