It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alexandra Giotis (Palatine, Illinois), who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Christos Giotis; and her siblings, Michalis Merjanis, Glykeria Lampros (Harry) and Stavros Merjanis (Agoritsa). She is survived by: her children, Harry Giotis (Litsa) and Lori Voutiritsas (George); her granddaughters, Alexandra Minginas (Steve), Eleni Adamis (Spero), Rebecca Voutiritsas, Alexandra Noon (Chris) and Christina Sarantopoulos; her great grandchildren, Peter (Marissa), Evangelina Adamis, Vasilios, Aris Minginas, Lauren, Sarah Noon, Kyra, Constantinos and Olivia Sarantopoulos; and her great great grandchild Ashton Adamis. She is also survived by children, mother, younger brother and six additional extended family.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Palatine, from 9 to 11 a. m. with services beginning at 11 a. m. Please wear a face mask and be respectful of social distancing.
