He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Steep and Majorie Steep (Thorson); his spouse Lois Steep (Jelm); and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his daughters, Jean Yarbrough (James), Janet Kiper (Bryan) and Joan Green (David); his grandchildren, Katie Steep Kilker, Kristi Kiper McNichol, Keith Kiper, Michael Steep, Cassandra Yarbrough Kramer, Kyle Kiper and Maggie Yarbrough; his great grandchildren, Brady, Ethan Kilker, Evan, Madelyn Kiper, Murray McNichol, Jack, Nick Steep, Eva, Hayden Kramer and Mikenna Kiper; his siblings, Charles Steep of Ottawa, Judy Jelm of Plainfield and Susan Phelps of Pittsburg, KS.; and his nephew Mark Olson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Pleasant View Chapel Fund.
