It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William E. Parrott of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Parrott and Mildred Parrott (Elzer); and his grandson Nicholas Dale Parrott. He is survived by: his wife Jo; his children, Bill Parrott (April) of Ottawa, Brenda Dougherty of Ottawa, Dave Parrott (Sheila) of Ottawa, Dale (Kerry Jolly) of Streator, Rob Parrott (Alyssa) of Gurnee and Dianne Bangert (Jeff) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, BJ (Kyra), Bryan, Luke, Kassi (Ryan), Lainey (Zach), Shannon (Eric), Eric (Marivick), Mike, Bry, Abby, Megan, Lilly, Taylor, Lauren and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Addison, Everly, Olivia and Hunter; and his sister Joanne Kiper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that all those attending the service to please wear a mask or face covering.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Columba Building Restoration Fund or to Marquette Academy for Bill and Jo Parrott's Blue & Gold Scholarship Fund.
