It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William J. Loughran of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Loughran and Vivian Mae Loughran (Hopkins); and his brothers, Tom and Mike Loughran. He is survived by: his wife Carole J. Loughran of Ottawa; his children, Greg Loughran (Esmeralda) of Bartlett, Cheryl Szott (Mike) of Spring Grove and Phil Loughran of Cortland; his grandchildren, Ellen Henning, Anna Drake, Ariel Hemke, Lauren Szott, Katherine Loughran and Garrett Loughran; and his siblings, John Loughran (Bobby) of Phoenix, AZ, Janet Cassidy (Bernie) of Pontiac and Margaret Oliver (Joe) of Mattson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Ottawa (800 1st Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
