Wayne Edward Riebe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Edward Riebe of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Otto and Delphine Riebe (Hill); his wife Rena Galletti; his children, Darcy Varland (Mark), Daron Riebe of Tampa, FL, Michelle Hale (Tom) of Waikoloa, HI and Wayne Riebe (Melissa) of Mercer, WI; his grandchildren, Adrianna Cockrel (Ben), Alyssa Mundt (Jared), Claire Riebe, Ian Riebe, Danielle Mroczek (Michael), Devin Hale (Kelsey), Wayne Riebe Jr., Marisa Riebe and Brittany Riebe; and his siblings, James Riebe (Linda), Alfred, Ernest and Sheila Sarver. He was also cherished by nine great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Ottawa PADs Shelter and Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child.
