He is survived by: his wife Ann; and his children, Thomas Blackmon, Eugene Kistenfeger, Sandra Nagel (William) of Oglesby, IL, Robert Kistenfeger (Joetta) of Mt. Zion, IL, David Kistenfeger (Kerry) of Ottawa, Gary Kistenfeger (Tracy) of Ottawa, Mary Kay Kistenfeger of Ottawa, Adrianne Johnson, Theodore Nagel, Courtney Just, Cami, Colby Kistenfeger, Zachary, Ryan, Jayson Kistenfeger, Kara, Quinn Kistenfeger, Kelsey Kistenfeger-Twohey and Cole Kistenfeger. He is also survived by 15 great grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Columba & Marquette Academy and Abigail Women's Center, Mendota.
