It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ruhland of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Alison and Scott (Togi); her parents, Stanley Alms and Virginia Alms; her parents-in-law, Norbert and Marie Ruhland; her siblings, Stanley Alms and Jan; and her brother-in-law Jim.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Lisa and Kurt (Kate); her grandchildren, Joel, Leah, Abigail and Miriam; her siblings, Carol Almson and Roy Alms (Susan); and her siblings-in-law, Norma Jean Messaglia, Alan (Pat), Marty (Sally), Gary (Nancy), Anne Borsattino (Gene), Tom (Sharon) and Terry (Jeanie).
