He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catarino Rubio and Frances Rubio (Delagarza); his wife Kathleen Rubio of Ottawa; his daughter Brittney Ahrendsen (Scott); his siblings, Nick Rubio, Delfina Towne, Linda Burgess (Ron), Patti Gould and Carmen Cooke (Rick); his grandsons, Tyler and Michael Ahrendsen; his mother-in-law Mary Reynolds Anderson; his sisters-in-law, Melody Fuller (Tim) and Debbie O'Hara; and his stepchildren, Jerry, Jeremy and Jennifer Castelli. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
