He is survived by: his children, Ann Yardley, Steve Almeda and Thelma "TJ" Jean Lowers; and his siblings, Francis "Peppy" Almeda of Ottawa, Trinidad Almeda of Utica, Herlinda Almeda of Ottawa and Josie Jeffries of Ottawa. He is also survived by grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
