She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bentler and Veronica Menke Bentler. She is survived by: her husband Richard E. "Brownie" Brown; her children, Larry Brown (Joan) of Gorham, IL, Peggy Turnipseed (Ken) of Kansas City, MO, Jane Nieukirk (Ron) of Washington, IL, Jerry Brown (Cindy) of Eddyville, IL, Mary Ann McCarthy of East Peoria, IL, Sue Ortle (Ron) of South Carolina and JoAnn Melton (Mike) of St. Louis, MO; and her siblings, Raymond Bentler (Marlene) of Salem, IA and Eileen Hellman of Houghton, IA.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
