He is survived by: his siblings, Louis James Comer (Deborah) of Florida, Donald Comer (Debbie) of Ottawa and Judy Griffin of Florida; his aunt Lorraine Phoehl; and his uncle Herb Comer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
