With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger L. Hill of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Marseilles, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell and Stella (Cobler); and his siblings, Russell Hill, Ruth Hay and Susan.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Lauren Lewis; his wife Eloise Snyder of Ottawa; his children, Steven Hill (Michelle) of Greenville, S. C., Julie Lewis of Mendota, Maribeth Hill (Eric Young) of Raleigh and N. C. (Andrea Hill); and his grandchildren, K. C. Lewis, Katie Hill, Ashley Fawkes (Tom), Rachael Meszaros (Chad), Zachary Lewis, Andrew Racicot, Whitney Lewis, Riley Hill, Preston Lewis, Stephanie Young, Christopher Young and Ella Lewis. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the donor's choice.
