He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Wilson and Nellie Wilson (McKinney); and his siblings, Eugene, Donald Davis, Ronald, Vernon Wilson and Imogene Arwood.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Wilson; his children, Rob Wilson (Karole) of Ottawa, Christa Fogarty (Marc) of Marseilles and Ryan Wilson (Dawn) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Madelayne Cota (Carlos) of Virginia, Nathaniel Wilson (Brooke) of New York, Gabrielle Wilson (Sekai Banes) of North Carolina, Chelsea Fogarty (Bobby Sanford) of Texas, Jaxon Fogarty of North Carolina, Kaitlyn Wilson of Ottawa, Hunter Wilson (Sabrina) of Ottawa, Ryan Wilson, Jr. of Ottawa, Dustin Gerkitz of Ottawa and Patrick Gerkitz of Ottawa; his great grandchild Rylen Gerkitz; his siblings, Patricia Munari of Marseilles, Deryl and Terry Wilson of Ottawa; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Ugland, Linda Backos (Bill), Sherri Countryman (Keith) and Wade Riebe of Ottawa.
