With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Pillion of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Pillion and Bertha Pillion (Day); his wife Gayle Pillion; and his brother Michael "Micky" Pillion. He is survived by: his children, Robert Pillion, Jr. (Anne), Laurie Pillion (Joe Cook) and Michael Pillion (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Tess, Lauren and Brendan; and his sister Mary Ellen Newton (Michael).

Memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
