He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Barnett and Elsie Barnett (Cummings); and his sister Ruth Sesto. He is survived by: his wife Dolores M. Hoelzer; his daughters, Lori Kimes (Kevin) of Ottawa, Karen King (Daniel) of Western Springs and Brenda Killelea (Bryan) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Ashley Holloway (Chad), Ryan Kimes (Corrine), Abigail Stern (Hudson), Stephanie King, Kathryn Donahue (Jack), Patrick Killelea (Libby) and Michael Killelea; his sister Elaine Farmer (Don); and his brother-in-law Barney Sesto. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to American Legion Post #731 in Utica, Trinity Lutheran Church, Ottawa, and the Illinois Veterans' Home, LaSalle.
