Richard Bacon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2021, at the age of 86, Richard Bacon of Ottawa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ursini; and his father-in-law Michael Ursini (Ella). He is survived by: his children, Sue Bacon (Jack Goldberg), Laurie Walter (David) of Grand Ridge, Michael Bacon and Richard Bacon (Karla) of Grand Ridge; his grandchildren, Katie Krol (Ryan), Luke Walter, Michael, Alex, Andrew, Carter Bacon, Samantha, Nicole and Kimberly Goldberg; his great grandchildren, Jace, Grant and Grayson Krol; his sister-in-law Mary Jo Bowers (Ron Turrisi); his nephew Jamie Bowers (Ashley); and his great-niece Zoey Bowers.

Family and friends attending will kindly be asked to maintain social distance and wear a face covering.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grand Ridge Fire Department, St. Columba Building Fund, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
