Reeda Jean Mijie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reeda Jean Mijie of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Lyon and Virginia Lyon (Moats); her stepfather James Pruitt; and her daughter Rebecca Mijie. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Mijie; her children, Kevin Mijie (Mandy) of Ottawa and Stacy Serna of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Jose Serna, Jaslynn Mijie, Nicholas Garcia, Kyle Mijie and Landin Nickels; her great grandchildren, Sophia Serna, Noah Serna, Amelia Serna, Aveon Serna and Braydyn Mijie; and her siblings, Douglas Lyon (Sue) of Marseilles, Susan Johnson (Ed) of Marseilles and Roxanne Smith (Alex) of Marseilles. She is also survived by the grandchildren and her beloved dogs.
