He is survived by: his wife Florence Veasy (Grant); his children, Linda Pontnack (Greg) of Rockford, Lori Jaiysimi (Ebun) of New Jersey, Jeffery Aldean Veasy of New York and Gregory Lynn Veasy of Sterling, Virginia; his granddaughters, Cristal Kayel Perry of New Jersey, Leslie Jaiyesimi of New Jersey and Lindsay Jaiyesimi of New Jersey; and his nieces and nephews, Theresa, Janice, Timothy, John, Gaylord, Kevin, David and Steven.
