Opal I. McDonald Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal I. McDonald of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Clarksville, Missouri, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Day and Esta Day (Bibb); her husband Virgil McDonald; her daughters, Esther Jeanne Sarles and Elaine "Jan" McDonald; her grandson Izaiah Veasy; and her siblings, Harold Day, Helen Colbert Laird and Mary Zumwalt.
She is survived by: her daughter Emma June Clemens (Harvey) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Traci Antrobus, Jodi Clemens Triggs (Rene Correa), Jennifer Clemens Sweborg, Arie Antrobus Donnelly (Chris), Daniel Veasy and Rick Sarles (Samantha); and her son-in-law Roger Sarles of Louisiana, Missouri. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
