It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Noel J. Lietz of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel C. Lietz and Ruby R. Lietz (Mennie); his sons-in-law, Rocky Smith and Corey Fredericksen; and his brother-in-law William Blythe.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Lietz (King) of Ottawa; his daughters, Nicole Fredericksen of Streator and Michelle Longman (Chris) of Rockton; his grandchildren, Vincent Lietz (Cheyenne) of Ottawa, Sydney Beyer (Kyle) of Ottawa, Makenzie Beyer of Chicago, Phillip Smith II (Alexus) of San Antonio, TX, Alxyandria Smith (Michael) of Destin, FL, Isabella Yang of Puyallup, WA and Samantha (Nikolaus Longman); his great grandchildren, Michael Lietz, Willow Lietz, Zeke Lietz, Addison Smith, Ryder and Lily; his sister Susan Blythe of Ottawa; his nephews, Tom Blythe (Kerri) and Tim Blythe; his niece Lisa Snook (Rob); his brother-in-law Michael King of Woodruff, WI; his close friends, Eric Nakaerts and John Dale Harris; and his pets, Cheena, Koda and Ken. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
