She was predeceased by: her parents, Seikichi Kayama and Sawa Kayama; her siblings, Sumiko Watanuki, Yoshiko Mikami and Shochan Kayama; and her son-in-law John Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Shaw of Yorkville, Sandra Goetz of Ottawa and Douglas Goetz of Ottawa; her sister Kimiko Kase of Tokyo, Japan.; and her grandchildren, Andrew Shaw (Joanna) of Yorkville, Hilary Shaw of Madison, Jeff Shaw (Teri) of Morris and Jenny Parolek (Ed) of Sugar Grove. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
