It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Gerace (Ottawa, Illinois), who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Connors and Catherine Connors (Stoehr); her husband Sam S. Gerace; and her siblings, William, Joseph Connors and Ann Gerace.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Rodda (Mickey) of LaSalle and James S. Gerace of San Diego, CA; her granddaughters, Julie Ianni of Portage, MI, Jeanna Rodda of Normal and Dayna Schickedanz of Normal; her great grandchildren, Megan, Maria and Michael Ianni; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanine Connors of Ottawa and Jean Connors of Ottawa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
