He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Orvis and Catherine Orvis (Engel); his grandson Steven Markus Chaney; his sister Patricia Ickes; his siblings-in-law, Joe Wise, Agnes Orvis and Patty Orvis; and his pet Lucky Charms.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lura Orvis Chaney and Casey Orvis Barnes; his grandchildren, Cameron Chaney and Austin Barnes; his former wife Penny Orvis Sheldrake; his siblings, Larry Orvis (Betty), Ronnie Orvis, Denny Orvis, Daryl Orvis, Linda Wise (Troy) and Cindy Wise; and his pets, Petie, Piper, Pickles and Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
