She was predeceased by: her parents, Ace Edwards and Helen Edwards (Mowry); her husband Gordon Poppel; her son Robert Steenbergen; her grandson James Asa Steenbergen; her siblings, Roger Edwards, Arlene Fuss, Francis Edwards and Sandy Christensen; and her children-in-law, Tim Carr and Tammy Steenbergen.

She is survived by: her children, Judith Kelley, Carl Steenbergen (Mary) and Patti Dale (Jeff); and her sister Mary Elston. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.
