He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arthur and Anna Finnegan (Kolischan); and his brothers, Thomas, Francis and Edward Finnegan.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Olson (Vincent); his children, Kevin Finnegan (Veronica), Kyle Finnegan, Kelly Finnegan, Krista Brown (Bob), Tracy Behrens (Chris) and Lori Olson; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Lexi Finnegan and Ryan Behrens. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (114 E Jefferson St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
