With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Elias of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elias and Mary Elias (Kolesar); his siblings, Lucille, Eva, Betty, Annette, Marlene, Yvonne and Donald; his grandchildren, Jeremy Maurice and Rosa Elias; and also Arkie.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Maurice (Paul) of Oglesby, Jackie Timm (Bob) of Ottawa, David Elias (Paula) of Annawan, Tom Elias (Anna) of California, Tim Elias (Judy) of Florida and Jamie Elias (Susan) of St. Louis; his brother Robert Elias of Streator; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Elias of Streator, Dorothy Guerrero of Ottawa, Florence Katrein of Florida and Thomas Katrein (Vicki) of Ottawa. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
