He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blossy and Iva Blossy (Taylor); his wife Mary M. Gutierrez; his stepfather Alan Nicolson; and his siblings, Carl, George Blossy, Esther Vitale and Cynthia Nicholson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Beth Blossy of Ottawa and Kathleen Holcman (Brad) of Oglesby; his grandchildren, Ryan Holcman (Linda Pfalzgraf), Chad Holcman (Ashley), Christopher Holcman (Rebecca) and Katie Holcman (Dale Hansen); his great grandchild Casey M. Holcman; and his sister Mardel Trager.
Due to current State of Illinois guidelines face coverings and social distancing will be required.
Memorials may be directed to the River Rescue Squad or First United Methodist Church.
