(Penick) Bretag of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Hull, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bertha; her husband Kaye Bretag; her son Steven Bretag; her grandson Christopher Bretag; and her siblings, Carolyn Penick, Franklin, James and Fred Penick.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Bretag (Chrisanne Kuenzel) of Wilmette, IL, Danny Bretag (Joanie Gayan) of Ottawa, Kayla Weck III (Pete) of Seminole, FL and Julie Grobe (Jeffery) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Pete Weck IV, Ryan Bretag (Catherine), Michelle Christensen (Steve), Steve Weck (Samantha), Scott Bretag (Angie), Jacob Grobe, Kristina Weck and Jordan Grobe; her great grandchildren, Allison, McKenzie, Steven, Dallas, Isabella, Finnian, Quinn, Faelin and Georgia; and her siblings, Jerry Penick (Norma) of St. Charles, IL and Marylin Desserich of Hannibal, MO..
