James Ohlendorf Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ohlendorf of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Ohlendorf and Margaret Ohlendorf (Simons); his sister Rebecca Ohlendorf Jobe (Mark); his daughter Kate Vaughn; his brother John; his sister-in-law Cindie Lewis; and his nieces and nephews, Joe Foster (Emily), Tyler Lewis (Abbey), Sam Lewis (Danielle), Chris Lewis (Shelly), Robert Lewis, Sarah Lewis and JoAnna Burress (Kevin). He was also cherished by several step-children, three great nieces, close family and friends.

In observance of CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required and the number of visitors in the building will be monitored.
