He is survived by: his children, James Murphy Jr. (Missey), Margaret Loughry (Scott) and John Murphy (Amanda); his grandchildren, Johnathan Robinson (Toni) and Nikita Novak (Ethan); his great grandchild Paisley Rae Novak; his sisters, Patricia Mitchell and Shirley Veith (Bill); and his nieces and nephews, James, Kimberly Taylor, Kelleigh, Karleigh Veith and Patrick Mitchell.
