It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Sue Bean of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Myers and Ruby Myers (Smail); her daughter Julie Crane Tyndall; and her brothers, Mark and Ed Myers.
She is survived by: her husband John Franklin Bean; her children, Ralph Bean of Ottawa, Nancy Wallace (Dave) of Marshall, IL and Sue Vandervort (R. C.) of Ottawa; her grandsons, Benjamin Tyler Crane, Seth Garrett Thomas Tyndall and Nicholas John Vandervort; her son-in-law Gary Tyndall; and her sister-in-law Janet Myers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the First Presbyterian Church, Ottawa or OSF Hospice.
