He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Serby; and his grandparents, Glenn, Lomena Serby, Edward and Alice Dougherty.

He is survived by: his mother Arlis Serby (Dougherty); his wife Mary; his daughter Casie Duncan; his siblings, JoAnne Even and Steven Serby (Melissa); and his nieces and nephews, Kylie Even, Nicholas Serby, Allen Serby, Jacob Serby, Keegan Even and Katherine Serby.
