He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Chivers and Ruth Chivers; his wife Ruth; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Chivers; and his grandson Andrew Chivers.
He is survived by: his children, David (Simone) and Diane (Charles); and his grandchildren, Heather, Jordan, Lauren and Dillon.
