He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eich and Margaret Eich (Cunningham); his wife Joni; his siblings, Joseph, Thomas Richard, Larry and Mary; and his nephews, Danny and Tim.

He is survived by: his significant other Thunderbird; his children, Jodene Denham (Michael), Jim Eich and Angela Scerini (Bill); his grandchildren, Kristin Eich (Kyle), Kayla Reimann (Josh) and James Eich; his great grandchildren, Jonathon, Jared, Paisley, Jonah, Paxton, Pierson, Jaelynn and Kayson; his sister Kate Hicks; and his sister-in-law Irene Rathbun (Frank).
