He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Knutson and Christine Knutson; his stepfather Manley Knutson; and his stepsister Bonnie Knutson. He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Ladenheim (Eric) of Fresno, CA. and Monica Pershick (David) of Normal, IL.; his stepsiblings, Beverly Hucker (Bruce) of Ames, Merle Clark (Mike) of Darien, IL. and David Knutson of San Jose, California.; and his nieces and nephews, Alexander Ladenheim (Kerry), Andrew Ladenheim, Colin Pershick, Victoria Pershick and Evelyn Ladenheim.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (726 W Jefferson St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
