He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curtis Grunstad (Bernice Grunstad) and Bernice Grunstad (Sampson); his wife Vickie French; his children, Kiley Curtis Grunstad (Jolinda) of California, Beau Nicholas Grunstad of Illinois and Brooke Eleanor DeGuilio (Jeffrey) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Jennie Lynn Shimkus (Tyler), Katelynn, Madison Grunstad, Nicholas, Jacob, Gabriella Grunstad, Sophia and Ava DeGuilio; his siblings, Keith Grunstad (Charlene), Kay Grunstad, Vicki Carroll and Brenda Grammer; his goddaughters, Sarah Hamann Brown and Christina "Kiki" Constantine; his daughter-in-law Lamese Grunstad; his sister Cathy Grunstad-Brue; and his grandparents, Bertram, Clara Sampson (Classon), Joe and Julie Grunstad (Wicks).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (717 Chambers St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
