He is survived by: his wife Karen Shanley (Bruck); his children, Doug Roth (Cheryl) and Annette Cantu (Roth); his stepchildren, Kelli DeWalt (Jeff) and Christopher Shanley; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Elena, Connor and Claire.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Ottawa (800 1st Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Oakwood Memorial Park (2405 Champlain St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
