It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Myre of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peterson and Lovina Peterson (Sutton); and her sisters, Deborah Sutton and Merilee Diller. She is survived by: her children, Greg Myre (Heather) of Janesville, WI and Laura "Lauri" Myre of Ottawa, IL; her grandson Dane Myre (Crystal) of Kewanee, IL; her children, Alexa Myre (Bryan Quinn) of St. Paul, MN, Morgan L. Myre of Denver, CO and Jack Myre of Janesville, WI; her great grandchildren, Liam and Storm Myre; and her siblings, Priscilla "Cib" Johnson of Ottawa, IL, Eileen Blackwell of Hendersonville, NC and Roger Peterson of Albemarle, NC..
