The memory of Eileen Dorothy Zachary of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Slingsby and Eileen Slingsby (Aubry); her siblings, Elaine and John; and her son-in-law Dale Grubar.
She is survived by: her spouse J. I. Case; her children, Robert Zachary (Pat), Michael Zachary Sr. (Debbie), William Zachary (Jody), Mary Ellen Grubar and Katheryn Zachary; and her grandchildren, Daniel Zachary (Brianne), Amanda Ocepek (Casey), Stacey Bragg, Michael Zachary Jr. (Amanda), Kelly Gage (David), Tyler Zachary, William Kozlowski, Mary Martin (Michael Jr), James Kozlowski (Alicia), Matthew Kozlowski (Lauren) and John Kozlowski (Kellie). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Ottawa (800 1st Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Patrick Church (726 W Jefferson St, Ottawa, IL 61350). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St. Columba Cemetery (1800 N 2990th Rd, Ottawa, IL 61350).
