We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2021, at the age of 99, Edith V. Jacobsen of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elof Almen and Esther Almen (Fornell); her husband George L. Jacobsen of Chicago; her daughter Evie Beckman; her grandchildren, Emil, David, Mark, Cheryl, Lori and Tad; her sister-in-law Dorothy Almen; and her daughter Sherry Flicek. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
