He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph R. Bastian and Mae L. Bastian (Severson); and his brothers, Ralph M Bastian (Sonny) and Gary A Bastian. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Zeman (Jason); his granddaughter Alexis Dant of Plymouth; his son Gerald; his grandsons, Trenton Blair (Madison) of Rockford, IL, Michael Rehor of Ottawa, IL and Ryan Mcstoots of Streator, IL; his great grandchildren, Hope Blair, Jaxson Blair and Antonio Mcstoots; his siblings, Larry Bastian (Jeannie) of Marseilles, IL, Robert Bastian (Bob) of Ottawa, IL, Roger Bastian (Ellen) of Olney, IL, Lois Wawerski of Greeneville, TN, Judy Ortiz of Ottawa, IL and Diana Gunderson (Knute) of Plainfield, IL; and also, Claudia Gallup, Teresa and Tommy Gallup of Granville, IL. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
