She was predeceased by: her parents, George L Howell and Amelia Howell (Case); her husband Cliff; her siblings, Merietta Hanson and Richard Howell; her son Robert Babcock; her stepson Danny McCollum; her brothers-in-law, Dale McCollum and Don Wagner; and her grandson Paul Babcock.

She is survived by: her former husband Clifford McCollum; her siblings, Margaret Wagner and Donald Howell; her children, Deborah Miller (Gary), Francine Babcock and Lewis Babcock; and her stepchildren, Clifford, Dean McCollum and Susan Houghtlin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
