She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl W. Bense and Margaret Bense (Ruffler); her brother Hans Bense of Stuttgart, Germany.; and her husband H. Robert Langer. She is survived by: her children, Monika Wasilewski (Chet), H. Robert Langer (Kristi) and Fredrika Leighton (Jim); her grandchildren, Andy, Erik Wasilewski, Lauren, Jimmy Leighton, Lindsey and Alex Langer; her great grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Teigan, Griffin Wasilewski, Bodhi Thies, Henry Leighton and Stephen Langer; and her grandsons, Vincent Burke and Kyle Thies.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Ottawa (800 1st Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Ottawa Avenue Cemetery (1601 Ottawa Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350).
