He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sampson and Eva Sampson (Rick); his wife Arlene Hoffman; and his siblings, Gary Sampson and Sandy Duncan.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald "Cheek" Sampson, Ronald Sampson (Cynthia), Jason Sampson (Rebecca Wrenn) and Aaron Hoffman; and his siblings, Sheila Modesitt (Gary) and Martin Sampson (Judy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
