We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 87, Donald Lewis Gillette of Ottawa, Illinois, born in Chatsworth, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gillette and Goldie Gillette (Lear); his siblings, Wayne Gillette, William Gillette and Eileen Marie Sliker; and his son Jeff Gillette.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Soulsby; and his children, Jane Schomas (Rodney) of Ottawa, Juli Stillwell (Jeff) of Ottawa and Joyce Gillette-Cartina of Aurora. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons.
